Stephany Gagen
Funeral Program Director

As the Funeral Program Director my goal is to practice the presence of God with grieving families — to hold a sacred space where healing can happen from the inside out. I work closely with families, clergy, and Resurrection teams to create a beautiful tribute that honors the life and legacy of their loved one. I also facilitate the preparation of a Celebration of Life service prior to one’s passing, helping to ease the burden on loved ones during their time of loss and grief. Additionally, I assist families in selecting and purchasing individual niches in our lovely Resurrection Memorial Garden, providing them with a peaceful resting place for their loved ones.

Emily Stirewalt
Silver Link Pastor

Emily Stirewalt serves as Resurrection’s Silver Link Pastor specializing in pastoral care of elderly adults. She is an ordained Elder in the Missouri Annual Conference and has served in full time ministry roles since 2011. Her ministry is one that seeks to be present with people no matter their age, story, or whether they are able to fully present themselves. She conducts meaningful funerals and walks with families through their deepest griefs when elders and generational anchors are no longer earthside. Her greatest joy is being present with those who Jesus would have loved the most-the least, the last, and the lost.

Madison Brown

As the Silver Link Coordination Director, I work closely with the Silver Link Pastor to create meaningful opportunities for connection, support, and spiritual growth within our senior adult community. From empowering volunteers to lead monthly worship services in surrounding care homes, to maintaining a personal care list of beloved elders I visit regularly, this ministry serves as a profound means of grace for both individuals and their families. Additionally, I serve as a Wedding Coordinator, supporting couples as they celebrate an important chapter in their journey together.
