Our counseling services, provided by compassionate Master’s level student interns, offer a welcoming space for those seeking support, understanding, and personal growth. Whether you’re navigating life changes, relationship challenges, or seeking to improve your mental and emotional well-being, we’re here to support you. We offer individual, couples, family, and child/teen counseling tailored to your unique needs.
Our interns offer fresh perspectives and are trained in evidence-based practices, under the close supervision of experienced professionals. We are dedicated to connecting you with the right resources to meet your needs and support your overall mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
We also work with pastors to bring wellness and family support programming to those in need through Resurrection Recovery, support groups and other venues.

Master’s level student interns offer counseling at the Leawood campus for mild to moderate mental health needs. All counseling sessions will be recorded for supervision and training purposes, as our counselors
are master’s students.
These recordings are confidential and will only be reviewed by authorized supervisors to ensure quality care.
These are students from area universities in the process of completing their Master’s degrees in counseling or marriage and family therapy.
They offer fresh perspectives and are trained in evidence-based practices, under the close supervision of experienced professionals.

Your needs will be evaluated by our counseling staff. If we believe your needs can be addressed by our counseling interns, you’ll be placed on our wait list.
Once an intern has space become available, you’ll be contacted to schedule an initial session.
Our interns are equipped to deal with mild to moderate mental health needs.
If it’s determined you will be better served by a licensed therapist, we will offer to provide you with a few referrals based on your needs, location and financial circumstances.
Our counseling interns are accessible to our church family and the community. You do not need to be a member or a visitor to request counseling services.
