The Story Behind the Song
An Evening with Resurrection Worship Leaders
A song starts somewhere, a hard season, an answered prayer, a quiet moment nobody else saw. Join us for Resurrection Downtown’s Women’s Retreat — “The Story Behind the Song: An Evening with Resurrection Worship Leaders,” where we’ll hear the stories behind songs they’ve written and the music that shapes our worship. You’ll get an inside look at how a song comes together, from that first spark to the version we all sing together. We’ll share dinner, a baked potato bar, and salad, hear from our worship leaders, and spend the night celebrating the way stories and songs carry us through life and faith. The cost is $20 and includes dinner, and scholarships are available.
