DESCRIPTION:Recovery in Motion is a monthly yoga class\, happening the 3rd Monday of each month\, built around the 12 Steps and somatic healing\, led by Forrest Vance\, a former NFL player and certified instructor with 19 years of wellness expertise. The premise is simple: trauma and stress don’t just live in our heads\, they live in the body\, and movement gives us a way to work through things that thinking alone can’t always reach. Rather than mapping poses directly to steps\, Forrest weaves the themes of the 12 Steps into the practice itself\, so what you’re working on inside and what you’re doing with your body are pointed in the same direction. Addiction shows up in many forms\, and this class is open to everyone. Bring comfortable clothes\, water\, and a yoga mat (extras available if needed).
