6-12th Grade Youth Choir Serve Trip

Travel to Arkansas where you will help families in the sixth poorest state in the USA. You may build a wheelchair ramp to help a disabled person access their home or repair a home damaged by water or paint a home to preserve the exterior. We will be working with Ozark Mission Project (ozarkmissionproject.org) in several different locations in the state. Discounts available if you register early. Ask your location director for additional scholarship information. $620 Registration deadline May 1st.

Cost covers lodging, transportation and all meal expenses. Local churches house groups in classrooms. Individuals will need to bring air mattresses and bedding. Showers will be made available at local community centers. Meals are prepared by Ozark Mission Project taking into account dietary and allergy restrictions.

Ozark Mission Project (OMP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission that serves across the state of Arkansas. We have been transforming lives and legacies through building projects for 36 years. Our largest program, summer missions, aims to organize youth and community groups to engage in Arkansas communities by serving individuals and families, our neighbors, who are in need of minor construction and yard work. In addition to the physical service projects, we strive to meet social and emotional needs by spending part of our time visiting, sharing lunch and, if the neighbor chooses, a devotional. We do not discriminate in the selection of our neighbors.
