Faith Over Fear

What are you afraid of?  “Nothing,” is probably your first response.  But if you really think about it, we all have some sort of fear.  We call it anxiety, uncertainty, stubbornness and other things.  This retreat weekend, we will talk about how a faith in Jesus helps us feel some of these things while at the same time feeling comforted and calmed by God.  So, come with all of your fears and be ready to be encouraged.  Registration for this retreat includes one overnight at Resurrection Leawood, meals, a hoodie/sweatshirt, sticker, lots of activity, games, singing, worship, conversation and more fun than you can imagine.  Get ready for a great weekend!

Sample Schedule

Friday, November 13th

6:30 pm – Check in at Building B the Leawood location, 13720 Roe Ave.

6:45 pm – Head to small group rooms

7:00 pm – Small group connections in rooms

7:30 pm – Session 1 – The Foundry

9:00 pm – Small group reflections

10:30 pm – Outdoor fun

11:30pm – head to sleep

Midnight– Lights out!

Saturday, November 14th

7:30 am – Wake up!

8:15am – Morning reflection in Small groups

8:30 am – Breakfast

9:00 am – Session 2 – The Foundry

10:30 am – Small Group reflections

11:30 am – Midday Fun team building with small groups

12:15 pm – Lunch

1:00  pm – Serve Projects

2:30 pm – Free Time- dodgeball, snack shop, outdoor games.

4:00 pm – Family worship – Sanctuary

5:30pm – Dismiss and cleanup

Refund Guideline

If the retreat is cancelled by Resurrection, you will receive a full refund of payments made. If you can no longer attend the trip for which you have registered, funds will be used to cover retreat expenses. Upon request, Resurrection will issue a partial refund in excess of 24 hours before the retreat for any payments made less expenses incurred by the church on your behalf. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to a retreat, no refund will be issued.
