Support Group for Grieved Parents & Siblings

Grief after losing a child doesn’t follow a schedule, and it rarely makes sense from the outside. This support group gives parents who have lost children of any age a place to process that loss alongside others who understand it, led by Pastor Dennis and Beulah Apple, who have walked this road as bereaved parents themselves. Conversations may cover real questions like how long grief lasts, what it means when you feel like you’re losing your mind, and how grief can look different for mothers and fathers. Dennis, author of Life After the Death of My Son, brings that lived experience into every gathering. The group meets the second Thursday of each month in the Parlor at Resurrection Leawood, with the option to join through Resurrection Online.
