Women's Retreat: Well... It's Complicated

Join us on October 19 from 9 am to 2 pm for a thought-provoking exploration of human sexuality and faith at the Resurrection Blue Springs Women’s Retreat. Keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Angie McCarty, author of Messy Sex: A Complicated Sexual Ethic to Address the Harm of the Purity Movement, will guide us through this often-complex topic with humor, honesty, and a refreshing perspective. Through learning and discussion sessions, we’ll wrestle with how to celebrate our God-given sexuality without shame or judgment, finding freedom in our unique identities as beloved creations. The day will include snacks, lunch, and a breakout session for fun and connection as we think about who we have been created to be by a God who loves us deeply and intimately.
