Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
This mission trip has been about so much more than just traveling from one place to another. It has been a journey of the heart, one filled with radiant smiles, meaningful connections, and countless opportunities to serve others with love and intention.
Each day has brought a new chance to brighten someone’s world, whether through a simple act of kindness, a shared laugh, or a word of encouragement. We’ve witnessed the power of human connection, how language barriers fade in the presence of compassion, and how joy can be sparked by something as small as a toothbrush or as profound as a prayer.
We came here hoping to give, but in many ways, we’ve received even more. We’ve been welcomed with open arms, humbled by the resilience and warmth of those we’ve just met, and reminded that service isn’t just about what you do: it’s about the heart with which you do it.
This trip has stirred something deep within all of us: a greater sense of purpose, a renewed appreciation for the beauty of community, and a desire to carry this spirit of service far beyond borders. The journey doesn’t end here, it’s only the beginning.
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” -Dr. Seuss
