Young Adults
Being a young adult can be difficult and confusing. What age even is a young adult? Some people say 18-35, while others say 20s and 30s. On top of trying to define this, young adults are often navigating college or working, becoming independent from their parents, dating, friendships, starting families, and more….phew! It can be exhausting, confusing, and challenging to be a young adult and to figure out where you belong.
But what if it didn’t have to be this way? What if there is meaning and purpose to discover right now, as a young adult? What if you found a community of people, who could cheer you on through it all? What if being a young adult is actually one of the most amazing things ever?
Resurrection Young Adults Ministry offers a place to discover your purpose while building friendships and growing in faith. It’s a welcoming community where you can ask the hard questions, be authentically you, and do good in the world.
Here's What We Believe:
- You are made to matter.
- You are loved. No exceptions.
- Questions and doubts are welcomed.
- Everyone is welcome at Resurrection.
Here's What We Don't Believe:
- You should have to check your brain at the door when you come to church.
- Faith is black and white.
- The journey of faith looks the same for each person.
- There are bumper sticker solutions to our world's biggest problems.

Join Us at The Dwelling
The Dwelling is a welcoming community where young adults can ask the hard questions, explore faith, and discover their unique purpose to make a positive impact on the world around them. The Dwelling is a weekly gathering to engage in worship and conversations that help you navigate your life, work, and relationships with meaning and purpose.

We're Glad You're Here
Small groups are an important way we find community and grow in our faith. Every human being wants to be known and to do good things in and for the world. Our small groups invite each person to a two-year journey that intentionally fosters connection, growth, purpose, and service.
All college-age and young adults are invited to join for coffee and conversation every 4th Sunday from 10:15 – 11 am in between worship services at Resurrection Downtown and Resurrection Brookside. Whether you’re in college, grad school, single, married, or a young professional, all young adults are welcome to come grab coffee and connect with friends right outside the worship space.
We have eight area locations: Leawood, Olathe (West), Downtown, Blue Springs, Overland Park, Brookside, Spring Hill, or Liberty. Each worship service includes meaningful worship and a hope-filled message that will challenge your mind and inspire your heart. All are welcome to worship with us at Resurrection.

Sundays
Join Pastor Justin Schoolcraft for an engaging Sunday morning Bible study. This informal class will be a weekly opportunity to dive into the biblical text in an effort to understand the dominant ideas that permeate God's story. We'll spend time each week reflecting on the implications of the week's passage on our daily lives, starting with Genesis and then moving straight through the Bible. This class is intentionally multigenerational, and we'll be at our best when people of all ages are present. You do NOT need to have been present the previous week to join - just come when you can!

Resurrection Young Adults
Our Young Adult Ministry provides a space of vibrant community for young adults – whether you’re in college, working as a young professional, a young parent, single or married. We are passionate about two things: that you will learn to live out your identity, and that you will have fun along the way. As you spend time with other young adults and older mentors, our hope is that you will deepen your understanding of who you are, how you can relate well to your neighbor, and how your life work can further the Kingdom of God for the entirety of your life.
