Next Steps

We are so excited you came to Beloved 2024! We want to keep hanging out with you, so check out a few ways to stay connected below.

Messy Sex Class

Mondays, Feb. 19 - Mar. 25 | 6:30-8 PM

Sex is messy…but not in the way you’re thinking! Looking to scripture to answer our questions about sex is complicated and often unclear. When humans wonder what scriptures and the church say about sex and how it applies to their lives, it becomes even messier! All women are invited to join Rev. Dr. Angie McCarty, author of Messy Sex: A Complicated Sexual Ethic to Heal the Damage of the Purity Movement* for this 6-week class as she admits the challenges of articulating a Christian sexual ethic both in and outside of relationships. Using humor and relentless truth-telling, you may leave this workshop with a different way of thinking about humanity’s God-given gift of sexuality.

Women’s Bible Study with Jami Nato

Join us starting in April for a three-week study on “This Must Be the Place” by 2024 speaker Jami Nato! We will dive even deeper into our purpose as women and all that God made us to be! You can join us in-person or online!

United Women in Faith

We believe that love in action can change the world. At Resurrection, we do this through learning, service, sisterhood, and faith opportunities both within the walls of the church and throughout our community. You can learn more about our website, or let us know that you’re interested in finding out more and we will be in touch!

Who Am I? Workshop

Did you know that how well you know yourself can effect how well you know others – and God? Who Am I? is a 4-week workshop to help you grow in understanding who you are, how you are made, and how you engage with the world and others. We’ll explore these ideas through the lenses of how God sees you, the Enneagram, and your spiritual gifts. Then we’ll bring it all together and send you out from the workshop with a plan to become more aware of who God has made you to be. Join us on Wednesdays nights at 6:30pm starting on May 8th at the Leawood location. Sign up to let us know you’re coming.

Resurrection is a church that loves and welcomes everyone. Our purpose is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people are becoming deeply committed Christians. Join us as we journey together to know, love, and serve God.
