Ash Wednesday services at all Resurrection locations will be held on schedule today.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
Resurrection’s first worship service was on Oct. 7, 1990, in the McGilley Funeral Home Chapel. In October, we’ll honor these visionaries and the many ways God has used Resurrection for ministry as we also explore the question “Why Church?” and cast vision for the next 35 years.
Resurrection has always been about serving the community, and in honor of our anniversary we are committing as a church to serving 35,000 hours in the month of October. You can serve as part of a Resurrection ministry or independently and log your hours.
Whenever you connected with Resurrection, wherever you worship – you are Resurrection. We’d love to hear your story. Please take a minute to complete this short survey and let us know how Resurrection has impacted your life.
Resurrection’s 35th Anniversary t-shirt features the new vision of the United Methodist denomination and represents who Resurrection strives to be as a church. Order your t-shirts by Sunday, Sept. 7, for delivery on Sunday, Sept. 21. (Please note, both women’s and unisex/men’s sizes may run slightly smaller, and you may want to size up.)
Place your order online, then pick up your shirt at a Resurrection location.
Order online directly from our vendor and have shirts shipped directly to your home (with additional shipping and processing fees).

You’re invited to a celebratory event hosted by the Resurrection Foundation on Tuesday, October 14, at 6 pm in the Resurrection Leawood Foundry, celebrating our remarkable 35th anniversary milestone. As we reflect on three and a half decades of faithful service and community impact, we know none of it would be possible without you. This special evening will feature Pastor Adam as our keynote speaker, special music, and inspiration for how your legacy empowers lives to be transformed for generations to come. All are welcome! Please plan to register for this meaningful occasion, as we come together to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the continued mission of the Resurrection Foundation in our church and in the community.
