Become A Worship Volunteer at Resurrection

Creating a welcoming worship experience takes a dedicated team of volunteers, and Resurrection is looking for people ready to jump in. Serve as an usher or greeter, sing with the choir or band, or work behind the scenes with our tech production team to help bring worship to life each week.
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2026
Aug. 6–7 | Resurrection Leawood
This August, Resurrection is hosting the Global Leadership Summit, one of the most respected leadership development events in the world. This year's lineup includes Priscilla Shirer and Andy Stanley. You don't need a title to benefit from this — everyone carries influence, and this event is designed to equip and challenge you to lead well right where you are.
PARTNER SCHOOL DRIVE
July 19 – 27 | All Resurrection Locations
This school year, Resurrection is mobilizing all nine Kansas City area locations to support local Partner Schools, and there are three ways to get involved. Stop by any Resurrection location to pick up a bag, fill it with the requested school supplies, and return it to help put the right tools in students’ hands before day one.
A MAHJONG MORNING
Jul. 25 | 11 AM | Resurrection Leawood
Resurrection Women are hosting a Mahjong Morning at the Leawood location, and all skill levels are welcome. Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning the tiles, come spend a Saturday morning playing and connecting with other women. Plan to bring a snack or drink to share, and if you have your own mahjong set, bring that along too.
RESURRECTION NIGHT AT THE DRIVE-IN
Jul. 30 | 7 PM | Boulevard Drive-In
On Thursday, July 30, we're heading to Boulevard Drive-In (1051 Merriam Lane, Kansas City, KS) for a night of community, fun, and a showing of How to Train Your Dragon under the stars. Tickets are just $20 per car, so load up the family, pack your lawn chairs, and bring a salty or sweet snack to share.
RESURRECTION STUDENTS: BIG WEDNESDAYS
Wednesdays | 6 to 9 PM | Resurrection Leawood Student Center
Every Wednesday this summer, 6th through 12th graders are invited to the Leawood Student Center for an evening that runs from 6 to 9 pm. The first two hours are packed with activities, from tie dye and foam parties to silent discos and paint nights, and the final hour brings the group together for Bible Study. The whole summer wraps up with Summer Baptisms on July 29.
