There is no 5 pm evening worship at the Leawood location.
You are meant to grow and deepen your faith alongside others, who encourage and empower you to make space for God in your family, friendships, work and sphere of influence.
As women we can often be pushed to feel like we have to present a perfect life to those around us; the perfect co-worker, perfect partner, perfect parent. Join us this lent as we discover “The Lives We Actually Live” based on the book by Dr. Kate Bowler. Each week we will hear from a different voice from our pastor and teachers. You can join us in person or online.
Join United Women in Faith for a Seder meal and connection during this Lenten season.
In the spirit of unity and sisterhood, our annual Lenten celebration will be a brunch and Tu B’Shevat seder conducted by Jewish friends from Strangers No More. Tu B’Shevat celebrates the Jewish New Year of the Trees to acknowledge the important role trees play in our lives. We’re asking our guests to bring hygiene items for Giving the Basics KC, a Hygiene Hub providing basic products not covered by government assistance programs. These products are distributed to more than 250,000 people each month.
Join us for Girls Night Out on Friday, May 12th from 6-8 PM at our Resurrection Downtown location! We can’t wait for an evening to hang out together, enjoy treats and crafting, and most importantly: relax and have fun together!
Imagine…a place that meets you right where you’re at as a mom, a woman and a friend. Learning how to be better equipped as a parent through speakers and discussion. Growing through a supportive network of moms who “get” it — from newborns to teens. Serving not only your family, but also your community through outreach opportunities.
Building Better Moms (BBM) strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow and serve together. BBM members meet together in a larger group setting, but are connected with a small group of moms who share a table at each BBM meeting throughout the year. The BBM calendar follows the school calendar year, beginning in September and concluding in May. The schedule is set to align as much as possible with area school and holiday schedules. BBM meetings run about two hours in length and each group meets approximately twice a month to enjoy food and fellowship, speakers and group discussion. All groups also participate in mission projects supported by The Church of the Resurrection and occasional social events outside of the meeting schedule.
