On Tuesday, October 17 at 6pm Resurrection is hosting “Hope for the Homeless” an event presented by United Women in Faith (UWF) in partnership with Hillcrest Transitional Housing. The event takes place at the Resurrection Leawood location in the Foundry in Building B. During this event, you can make an incredible contribution to Hillcrest Transitional Housing by bringing 5 lightly used clothing items for men, women, or children with you when you attend the event as a donation.
Hillcrest Transitional Housing knows there is hope for the homeless in Kansas City and has a proven method for moving families and individuals from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Their program is the most successful of its kind in Kansas City. Join us as Barbara Fitzgerald, VP of Development for Hillcrest, shares stories of hope from the work they’ve done and her insights on their mission of giving “Hope to the Homeless.” UWF has partnered to serve Hillcrest through crafting, decorating living spaces, as well as contributing items and funding towards this key local KC mission program’s success. We look forward to seeing you there!
We’re serving a light meal for in-person attendees for $10. Online attendees can use the discount code “online” to waive the registration fee. If you would prefer to waive the light dinner, you can use the discount code “nofood”.
Everyone is welcome to attend this event hosted by United Women in Faith!
