Online Geo Groups

Hi Amarillo! I’ve been worshiping with COR the past four years, and found a home here where I feel spiritually fed.  I joined COR on February 1, 2026 and I am looking to build Christian Community with others here in Amarillo.  In the polarized environment we Americans find ourselves in at this day and time, meeting and discussing things important to us face to face is a good way to reconnect with our neighbors. I envision a social group that meets in person once a month to connect with one another through discussing our experiences in our lives and faith, our joys and struggles, the journey we’re on, events in our world, books we’ve read, sermons that moved us, how we are working to become the people God intends us to be, and so much more. All of this while sharing a good laugh and having fun along the way. I want this to be a casual group that collaborates with each other on ideas for our group and the format of our gatherings.  I would like to eventually add a serve element to our group and will be looking to you for ideas as time goes on. The goal is to be committed to one another as neighbors in our shared faith.  I welcome you and please, give us a try and join us if this is something you think you’d be interested in.  I look forward to seeing you!

My name is Cindy and I am a born and raised Colorado native, which according to folks that live here is really rare. I am a Certified Nurse Midwife and live in northwest, Westminster and office in Lowry. I’m looking for another outlet to socialize and share with like-minded and like-spirited humans. I found Resurrection during the pandemic and feel spiritually connected with the greater community and mission. My hope is to lead a social and serving group.  I’m excited to meet and connect with each of you!

Hello people of Des Moines and the surrounding metro area. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I became involved with COR during COVID.  I was seeking a weekly on-line service and someone suggested COR.  Weekly service turned into joining an on-line Bible Study group which eventually led to leading the Bible Study.  We have become each other’s stretcher bearers.  Together we have experienced life, both good and challenging.  With time, all the members have moved to the Kansas City area to become more involved with COR.  I’m the only one not living in the KC area.   While the on-line connection is still a part of my spiritual journey, I am looking to connect in person with others who also are on a similar journey.  Wouldn’t it be great to have a group in Des Moines where we could share our faith and serve our community?  If you are interested in meeting monthly (we can determine the parameters once we get a group identified) please let me know. Hey friends in the Pensacola FL/ Mobile, AL area! I have been a member of Resurrection since 2025 and enjoy everything Resurrection has to offer to the online community. Being so far away from the main campus, it can be difficult to feel connected. That’s what this group is all about.

The group vibe is casual and collaborative. We cover a large geographic area so, for now, we will keep the group meetings online. If you are in the area and want to connect with people near you to discuss our lives in faith, sermons and series, or to share the many blessings of God, we want you to join.

Hello, Quad Cities! I love being a member of Resurrection and enjoy worshipping online, but I feel a need to expand my growth through fellowship and service. Pastor Adam always tells us to “Go!” and I find this to be an exciting challenge for us to bring Resurrection values and service to our hometowns and to strengthen our faith. If you feel like this might be something you would enjoy too, I invite you to join me in this adventure and see what we can do together as a COReQC geo group.

My name is Joe and I am very excited to become involved with Resurrection Geo Groups. Although we are about 1,500 miles from Kansas City, it will be a nice way of getting together and feel more closely connected with the church and congregation. We will also be part of an effort to learn and help build a program that will be a benefit to those of us who are “distantly challenged.” I hope that we can find opportunities to serve those in need in our own local communities, although we encompass a very large geographic area. This will be part of the challenge of crafting something new, but we can leverage activities and efforts that you may already be connected with. I’m looking forward to increase my involvement with and add to my commitment to our church!

Friends from The Villages in Florida, we invite you to be a part of our Resurrection Geo Group! Our aim is to build community among people in and around the The Villages area, who have found inspiration as a part of Resurrection’s worship and programs, and who would like to meet others nearby. We are a social group that meets in-person monthly. We welcome group members looking for connection, no matter the stage in faith journey. Come join us!

Following Jesus’ lead, I see our group as growing together and serving those less fortunate. Growing together means listening to different perspectives as we discuss Pastor Adam’s sermons,  and sharing how God is working in our lives. Growth can happen whether we all think alike or come from different perspectives and cultures, as long as we are seeking Jesus’ direction. By serving we can be the hands and feet of Jesus, and also experience the joy that comes with helping those in need. We will determine how to accomplish this as a group, whether we meet by zoom or in-person. I hope we can do both. Depending on a group decision, we’d plan on meeting twice a month. Pastor Adam gives us much to ponder, and I look forward to doing this alongside this geo group.
