Offering Hope to Children & Families

Resurrection Gives 100% of Christmas Eve Offering

Bringing Hope to Children & Families

Since 2009, Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, has donated the entire Christmas Eve offering to projects benefitting children and families in poverty, half in Kansas City and half globally. This Christmas, the largest project, receiving a $500,000 grant, is the purchase of a mobile dental clinic operated by Swope Health.

Additional funds will be used locally to support early childhood education initiatives, aid refugee resettlement, address food insecurity, and support a community outreach center in KCK.

Globally, funds will support to international partner schools in Malawi, South Africa, Uganda, Haiti and Lebanon, permaculture and economic development and clean water projects in Malawi and Haiti, an orphan empowerment program and vocational training in Malawi, and seed funding for future project benefiting children in Gaza impacted by the war.
