What comes to mind when you hear the words “angel,” “halo,” or “wings”? What about celestial beings descending from the sky? What if there’s more to angels than the ornaments we hang on our trees? The word angel means messenger. They’re mentioned hundreds of times in scripture. They bring messages of comfort, peace and joy. And who doesn’t need more of this today? Sometimes, the Bible says, when we welcome strangers, we welcome angels without knowing it. Join us this Advent, for a five-week journey as we discover the Angels found in scripture and the role they might just play among us today. Click here for worship details and to view past sermons.

This holiday season, redefine the joy of giving by choosing a meaningful alternative to traditional gifts. Instead of the usual presents, honor your loved ones with a unique gesture – contribute to our Candlelight Christmas Eve offering in their name. Gift cards, available at the Connection Point, allow you to share the joy of giving back. This year’s offering is dedicated to supporting preventive dental care for children in our partner schools. Join us in creating a positive impact, not only for the kids here in Kansas City but also for those in need abroad. At Resurrection 100% of our Candlelight Christmas Eve offering goes to support children in need both in Kansas City and abroad. Click here to donate.
