Third Grade Bible Milestone & Retreat
Nov. 16 | During Worship | All Resurrection Locations
On Sunday, Nov. 16 every 3rd grader will be gifted a Bible from their church family to grow in their understanding of Scripture. Third graders will check into Sunday School and then parade through worship and receive their Bible from our pastors, enjoy a kid’s message about their Bibles, and return to celebrate this milestone moment. A special retreat for third graders and their grown-up (at least one grown-up is required) will help them learn how to read and understand their Bible together. Date and times vary depending upon location.
November 16 Presentation Sunday registration is required even if you can’t attend.
- Leawood: 9, & 11 am, 5 pm worship times
- West: 9 & 11 am worship times
- Downtown: 9 am worship time
- Blue Springs: 11 am worship time
- Overland Park: 9 & 11 am worship times
- Brookside: 9 & 11 am worship times
- Spring Hill: 9 am worship time
- Liberty: 10 am worship time
- Lee’s Summit: 9 & 11 am worship times
- Outside the KC area
November 21 Bible Retreat
We have a fantastic event just for 3rd graders and an adult. We have fun, fellowship and play games as we explore their new Bibles. Cost is $25 per family and includes dinner. The event is from 5:30 – 8 PM. You can choose to attend at one of four locations, Leawood, West, Brookside or Lee’s Summit. Register for the Retreat coming soon
