Join us for Bright Futures: Fostering Financial Literacy, a life-changing initiative designed to empower foster youth approaching adulthood. On Saturday, March 29, from 10 am to noon in Foundry Hall, we’ll host an engaging lunch and learn session followed by a guided shopping experience at Walmart, helping young adults build practical financial skills as they transition to independence. This community-wide initiative, previously hosted by Building Better Moms and now supported by all women’s ministry areas, welcomes volunteers from across our congregation to make a lasting impact in the lives of foster youth from Kansas and Missouri. For child welfare professionals, we’re also offering a free CCU-eligible morning class. Your generous donations help provide these young adults with both essential knowledge and practical resources for their journey ahead.
