Championship Week: Student Athlete Bible Study

Athletes in 8th through 12th grade are invited to Championship Week: A Student Athlete Bible Study, a 4-week study that connects the final week of Jesus’s life to the world of competition, teamwork, and what it means to lead with integrity. Led by Matt Williams, former Duke and Chicago Cubs Minor League baseball player, each session digs into the events of Holy Week and draws out the questions every athlete faces: Where does your identity come from when the crowd turns? How do you respond when a teammate betrays your trust? What does it look like to compete with confidence when everything feels like it’s falling apart? This isn’t just a Bible study, it’s a conversation about faith, sport, and the kind of athlete and person you want to be. Sessions meet on Tuesdays, March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 14 from 8 to 9 pm in Building C, Student Center.
