First Grade Prayer Presentation & Retreat

We’re excited to celebrate our 1st graders and their Faith Walk Milestone of Prayer on September 21. Our little ones will parade into certain services at all Resurrection locations to join in the Lord’s Prayer – something they’ve been practicing each week in Kids Ministry. After this special moment in worship, first graders and their grown-ups will have some fun together making a prayer craft to use at home. We’d love for you to join us for this important milestone. It’s a wonderful chance for our first graders to remind us all about the power of prayer in our faith journey.

First graders will check in to Sunday School and then parade into worship to be part of a unique worship experience, celebrating their journey in learning the Lord’s Prayer.

Later that day, 1st graders and their grown-ups (at least one grown-up is required) can enjoy a retreat where they will learn about the faith essential of prayer.

• Leawood: 9 & 11 am worship times. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
• West: 9 & 11 am worship times. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
• Downtown: 9:30 am worship time. Retreat 11 to noon
• Blue Springs: 11 am worship time. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
• Overland Park: 9 & 11 am worship times. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
• Brookside: 9 & 11 am worship times. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
• Spring Hill: 9 am worship time.  Retreat after the 9 am service.
• Liberty:  10 am worship time.  Retreat 11:30 to 12:30 pm.
• Lee’s Summit: 9 am worship times. Lunch retreat 12:30 – 1:30 pm
