High School Summer Serve Trip

Calling all high school students! Are you ready for an unforgettable summer adventure that combines service, faith, and fun? Join us for our High School Summer Serve Trip to Asheville, North Carolina, from June 21 – 28, where we’ll be partnering with Carolina Cross Connection to make a real difference in the community.  You will be empowered to break down stereotypes while working with homeless residents.   You will lend a hand to homeowners who need repairs but don’t have the ability or means to make them.  Carolina Cross Connection (carolinacrossconnection.org) will facilitate the experience as they work with these neighbors year-round.  Plus, you will get to experience the beautiful Appalachian and Smokie Mountain ranges. 

Serve Trips include strenuous outdoor work and recreation in June and July that will require participants to hydrate and eat healthily to guard against heat exhaustion.  Some medications may have an adverse reaction to extreme heat.  Please check with your care provider(s) to determine your fitness for participation prior to registering. 

Take advantage of a 20% trip discount if you register before January 1, 2025.

If you would like to request a scholarship, please register first with an initial deposit and then complete this form by April 1st.  A staff member will be in contact with you.

Refund Guidelines: Since payments received for trips are considered for refund, please consult your tax professional to determine the tax deductibility of the trip related expenses. If the trip is cancelled by Resurrection, a full refund of the payments made will be issued.  If unable to attend the trip for which you have registered, funds will be used to cover trip expenses.  Upon request, Resurrection will issue a partial refund in excess of 45 days from the departure date for any payments made less expenses incurred by the church on your behalf.  No refund will be issued if cancellation happens 45 days or less from the departure date of the trip.
