Pet Ministry Weekend

Join us for Pet Ministry Weekend on July 12 & 13 at all Resurrection locations! In celebration of God’s care for all creatures—great and small—kids are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animals for a special blessing after worship. This special weekend highlights the important work of Resurrection’s Pet Ministry and celebrates the bond between people and pets. Beloved stuffed companions are welcome to receive a blessing following each worship service. Whether your treasured friend gets carried everywhere for comfort and cuddles or holds a special place on the bed, all stuffed animals are welcome as we gather to honor the joy our pets, both real and stuffed, bring to our lives.

For those who would like a live pet blessing join us on Saturday, July 12 at the Leawood location from 9 – 10 am. Bring your beloved pets to receive a special blessing from Resurrection pastors, who will be stationed outside the main sanctuary. Whether you have a loyal dog, a curious cat, a cheerful bird, or any other cherished companion, all pets are welcome to receive this pastoral blessing.
