The Bible & Sexuality... It's Messy!

This April, Resurrection Overland Park invites women — high school age and above — to an honest, thought-provoking two-week conversation about faith and sexuality. Rev. Dr. Angie McCarty, author of Messy Sex: A Complicated Sexual Ethic to Address the Harm of the Purity Movement, brings humor, candor, and a fresh perspective to a topic that is often complex and deeply personal. Through teaching and open discussion, participants will explore what it looks like to embrace their God-given sexuality without shame — and discover what freedom and wholeness can look like for women at every stage of life. The class meets on Tuesdays, April 21 and 28, 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Resurrection Overland Park.
