Discover new reads at our May Monday Gathering and Book Exchange on Monday, May 12 at 9:30 am in Room B206 at Resurrection Leawood—back by popular demand! Bring a book you’ve recently loved and come ready to share a quick recommendation; it’s a great way to connect and enjoy good conversation. Have you read something that moved you, challenged your thinking, or simply provided a wonderful escape? This is your chance to pass that joy along to someone else! Both adult and children’s books are welcome, priced between $1–$3 (cash or check only), with all proceeds supporting the wonderful work of Reach Out and Read, an organization dedicated to promoting early literacy and school readiness. No need to sign up, just show up with your favorite recent read and discover what literary treasures others might share. Let’s celebrate our love of stories, swap recommendations, and spread the joy of reading together.
