Log Your Serve Hours
At Resurrection, serving has always been at the heart of who we are. From the very beginning, we have been committed to being the hands and feet of Christ in our neighborhoods, schools, and city. As we celebrate our anniversary this year, we’re inviting every person in our congregation to join us in a bold goal: together, we will serve 35,000 hours in the month of October!
Whether you serve through a Resurrection ministry or on your own in the community, we want to know about it. Logging your serve hours helps us celebrate the ways God is moving through our congregation and encourages others to get involved too. Every hour matters. Every act of kindness adds up.
Why Log Your Hours?
- Celebrate what God is doing. Your service contributes to our church-wide story of impact.
- Inspire others. Seeing where and how you serve may encourage someone else to step in and serve.
- Reach our October goal. 35,000 hours is ambitious — and we can only get there together.

What Counts as Serve Hours?
If it’s an act of service for the good of others — it counts!
You can log hours from:
- Resurrection ministries – food pantry, partner school support, community outreach events, serving days, holiday drives, and more.
- Independent service – we know many of you serve in meaningful ways outside of church. Those hours count too!
- Service inside the walls of the church - serving in kids and students, greeters, ushers, worship music, and more!
Examples of independent service you can log:
- Coaching a local youth sports team
- Volunteering at your child’s school or PTO event
- Delivering meals for organizations like Meals on Wheels
- Donating your time at a local animal shelter
- Mentoring or tutoring students
- Helping a neighbor with yard work or home repairs
- Participating in a community cleanup
- Serving at a hospital, nursing home, or community center
