Resurrection Kids Music & Choir

Rehearsal begins Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 10:10 – 11:10 am.

Resurrection Kids Choir is for children who are in Preschool (age 4 prior to Sept. 1) thru 5th grade. We meet at our Leawood location in Building B, room B200 from 10:10-11:10 am.

Get ready to embark on an incredible journey filled with joy, music, and unforgettable moments! This year’s musical is titled Carol of the Toys. When two groups of toys — the OG (Original) toys and the once-a-year Christmas toys — gather for their annual reunion, they quickly realize something is missing… the entire nativity scene! Where are Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus? With hearts full of curiosity and care, the toys band together to launch a search party to find the true center of Christmas: the Savior.

Carol of the Toys is a joyful, high-energy musical that blends humor, heart, and faith. With a musical mix ranging from clever Nutcracker-inspired arrangements to hip-hop and touching ballads, this story reminds performers and audiences alike that the true joy of the season is found in seeking — and celebrating — Jesus.

The performance will be on December 6.

• If you are attending Kids Sunday School for the 9 am service, please follow the process in their check-in room. A sticker needs to go the CHOIR sheet, giving us permission to bring your child to choir. If they are going to attend Kids Sunday School at 11 am, we will have special instructions when you check-in your child for choir at 10:10 am, giving us permission to take them to Sunday School classrooms.
