Church programs for Monday, Jan. 22 will resume their normal schedule at all locations this evening.
Leawood’s Sunday night in-person worship has been moved to 4 pm for Sunday, February 11.
As part of the Sonflower Adult Learning Program (SALP), Matthew’s Ministry Sonflower Bakery provides an opportunity for adults with special needs to bake cookies, breads, scones and more, as well as share their gifts with others. Their baked goods can be found at the Resurrection Leawood Spring Café, church events, in the community, and through special orders. Participant application required.
We have volunteer opportunities Monday through Friday in the bakery to assist the participants and make some baked goods! For more information, contact Joan Baird.
Email Joan Baird or visit the Spring Café at Resurrection Leawood.
The Sonflower Bakery offers a community baking day every Thursday from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. This day is open to all individuals with special needs. Enrollment in the SALP not required. The participant must be assisted by their own helper/care provider. For more information, contact Joan Baird.
