The Final Words from the Cross:

During Lent in 2009, we reflected on the final week of Jesus’ life. In 2010, we considered the final 24 hours. In this series, we conclude the trilogy of Lenten sermons by focusing on Christ’s dying hours and his final words as seen and heard through the eyes and ears of those who stood near the cross. Each week we’ll focus on one of the characters at the cross and reflect upon one of the seven final statements of Jesus as we seek to understand the meaning of Jesus’ dying words for our lives today.
