Costa Rica - Day 1

A long day of airports and customs lines didn’t slow the group down looking forward to the upcoming serve opportunity. Feeling blessed to hear the many return volunteers’ stories about past projects completed in Costa Rica and hear excitement about what lies ahead. Jon, Bill, and Rusty talked about past trips, the friendships that were made especially with locals, and the building techniques used.

In the dark van ride through a very foggy mountain range, we were impressed with our driver on narrow roads. Shout out to Jose for being co-pilot, translator, and even wildlife spotter on the ride to the camp.
