Ash Wednesday services at all Resurrection locations will be held on schedule today.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
I woke up this morning to the sounds of birds, crickets, and wildlife coming through the open window and the smell of coffee. I’m amazed at how beautiful the camp is with its green foliage, large trees, and the sounds of nature. Walking on the trails and seeing a banana tree next to the activity/dining room.
We attended church in Santa Marta this morning. What a spiritual experience seeing members full of faith and worshipping. Members were engaging and welcoming. After service, we were served a nice lunch of fried chicken and rice. It was excellent. The chicken was cooked outside over a wood fire in a large kettle. Delicious!
The six new members met with Wil and he discussed this wonderful organization which is based on 5 pillars: worship, prayer, fellowship, service, and witness.
Dinner was eventful because we had guests from the church in Santa Marta join us along with the other St Louis church. It was a special time visiting, enjoying conversation and just spending time together. Rod and Sharon led the morning devotional and Rusty and Martha led the evening devotional.
