Costa Rica (Students) Day 1

Hello family and friends!

We have had such an exciting first day in gorgeous Costa Rica and I cannot wait to tell you all about it! After a long, long, looong night of travel, our kind leaders let us sleep in and explore the seminary where we were staying. We were able find beautiful flowers, some mango trees and made friendship bracelets. From there it was off to the Starbucks farm — We loved this. The views were breathtaking (complete with a waterfall), the coffee was fresh, and the rain was perfect for splashing around in. After almost too many pictures with our amazing backdrop and it was off to the Missions and Ministry Center!

Our bus was surprisingly comfortable for it being filled to the brim and the humidity (no one got sick yay!!!). We oohed and awed over the views from our windows and took in the local culture – it’s so exciting to be in a new country! Games were played and we were all best friends by the end of our trip despite our best efforts to sleep. We are now all settled into our home for the week and ready to get to work!
