Fun and fellowship were the intentions for Thursday’s schedule as we traveled across Tegucigalpa to a beautiful park where we met up with the students and faculty of the COR partner school from Ciudad Espania.  While we reengaged with Principal Olga and her beautiful students, the highlight of the day had to be the soccer game between COR team members and the school’s faculty members.

COR was represented by Pastor Josh, Scott, Alicia, Aiden, Pastor Matt from Monticello UMC, plus three of our amazing Honduran support group Rigo, Jayson and Isaac.  Together they scored several goals, but came up a bit short with a final score of 6 to 4.  We’ve posted a few videos of the game so you can see how “skillfully” our team played.

Following dinner we concluded a series of devotional conversations with the Honduran team members who have helped translate, drive and serve us.  We’ve come to respect, admire, love and rely on the Christian values and remarkable abilities of Milton, Rigo, Bessy, Isaac, Jayson and so many others.
