Honduras - Day 6/7

Honduras: January 1-8, 2025
Lots of driving Friday! We drove back to Tegucigalpa from Danli and hit several construction stops. Milton’s truck and passengers missed all the stops somehow. He is an “assertive” driver. We lost about an hour and a half with traffic so had to adjust our itinerary a bit.
We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view in Santa Lucia. Then we drove to Valle de Angeles for some shopping. Both such cute towns.
After grabbing some souvenirs we took some time to reflect on our trip through letters to ourselves over a beautiful outlook in the valley.
We headed back to Tegucigalpa for a wonderful dinner together to close out our week.
We said goodbye to the translators which was a difficult task for us all. We spent a lot of time with these amazing people this week. They are all terrific human beings and care about their country very much. We learned a lot from each other this week and will remember these relationships we forged forever.
We finished our night with a final devotional to recap our experiences and lessons we will take home with us.
We are headed home today with full hearts. ¡Adios, Honduras! ¡Te Amamos! ❤️
