Malawi 2023 Blog 2

It’s been a busy few days since our arrival in Malawi. Sunday the team attended church at Madisi Methodist Church. We were blessed with beautiful singing and dancing by the church members. Our team leader, Mary Beth Wiggins preached on listening for “the still small voice” of God. After a lunch of chicken, goat, rice, vegetables and sauce we headed out to set up the sanctuary for clinic. We saw 75 patients and were joined by two local clinicians. It was a day of figuring out what we needed, how we might screen patients, and how to work together. It was a great day, filled with song, dance, a feast and lots of children!
Tomorrow takes us to the Dowa District hospital and a new experience. We are excited for another day to be blessed by the wonder people we meet.
