“Eye-opening, moving, devastating, inspiring.” These were some of the words shared by our team members after a visit to the Apartheid Musuem today. Our team wanted to learn more about the history of the area we will be serving. We then had the honor of sharing a meal with Manti, Elvis and Leah. Manti leads the children’s ministry and Elvis leads the older youth group at Westview Methodist Church. Leah is here through the divinity program at Duke. We had a wonderful meal and spent the evening talking about everything from our dancing/vocal talents to our faith. Most of the meal was spent laughing with each other. We had a great first day
