There are some moments in life that as they are happening you just know you’re never going to forget it. Do you know what I mean? It may be a big moment. Or it may even be a small simple moment.

Today was that moment for us. We were so blessed to join the kids and youth for worship followed by some games outside. The harmony of the songs, the joy and energy, the playfulness of the moment was simply refreshing. Inspiring. Spirit filled. Fun! Connected. Children and youth just have a way of brining that kind of goodness. No matter where you are. It’s universal. And we loved every minute of that today.

We also were able to be with over 100 volunteer leaders of UCSS (Uganda Counseling and Support Services). We led 3 trainings on time management, prioritizing, and team building. As with the other trainings we learned so much. What’s amazing is how much we have in common in loving our families, serving our communities, and working.

Our day ended with some wonderful time together as a team discussing the day, laughing telling stories from our lives, sharing devos.
