Uganda: Jan. 28 - Feb. 8, 2025
Today was our last full day at the Mission House and it was FULL.
This morning we trained on project management, data analysis and data management. The UCSS team was attentive as they learned these practical business skills. . .and there was a little dancing.
We truly enjoyed the afternoon touring different schools. Today was the first day of school. We started at the Nakalama early education, then Nabisiki primary school, followed by Liberty High School and finally Cornerstone vocational school.
At each stop we met students, teachers and school leaders. The students impressed us with their welcome messages and sharing what they want to be when they grow-up. The teachers impressed us with how many students they have in each class. It is difficult to imagine having 70 students or more in a class! And of course, there was a little more dancing!!
Tomorrow we will train with UCSS in the morning and travel to Kampala in the afternoon.
