Day 1

A group of 9 volunteers are headed to Uganda!  We’ll get to serve with Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS), a Ugandan non-profit that focuses on holistic community development.  Our mornings will be spent offering workshops where we will all learn and share about a variety of topics from data management to leadership training to interpersonal skills.  Our afternoons will give us an opportunity to visit the projects, schools, and medical clinic that were all founded by UCSS and listen as the leaders share about the incredible work they are doing.  You may not hear from us for a few days as we travel, but once our feet are on the ground in Uganda and we’ve gotten some sleep, we’ll send another update.  Until then, thanks for following along on our journey, thank you for all of your prayers, and thank you to all of the family and friends that are supporting us along the way!
