Sponsored Gifts

This Christmas, Resurrection is providing joy and hope to those we serve across Kansas City. Together we are:

Sponsoring children and families in need by providing Christmas gifts that remind them they are loved and not forgotten.

Beginning November 2nd, visit the Missions Christmas Hub at your location to pick up details on how you can take part.
All gifts should be returned on or before November 30th.

Together, we can share Christ’s love and make this Christmas unforgettable for families across our community.

Winter Warmth Drive

For Kansas City’s unhoused population, freezing temperatures can be deadly. Prolonged exposure puts individuals at risk of frostbite, hypothermia, and even death. Winter clothing and shelter are essential for survival.

Your Winter Warmth donations will go directly to our partners serving homeless communities throughout Kansas City and children in our partner schools.

Please consider providing any or all of the following items and return them to the JOY bins at the Main Entrances by November 30th:

  • New Winter Socks
  • New Winter Hats
  • New Weather-proof Gloves
  • Adult Weather Resistant Winter Coats (L/XL)
  • Children’s Winter Coats (sizes 3T–16)
  • Hand Warmers

Any monetary contributions allow Resurrection to provide winter warmth items to several local partners this year.

*In-kind donations will not be reflected on your giving statements.

Partner School Toy Drive

This Christmas season, help us bring JOY to children in our partner schools! Each year, our schools run incentive stores, special programs where students earn rewards for positive behavior, good attendance, and strong testing scores. By donating toys, you’re not just giving a gift, you’re helping motivate and celebrate kids all year long!

Starting November 30, you can pick up a toy list at your Resurrection locations and shop for items most needed. The toys you provide will stock the incentive stores at our partner elementary schools and be used to encourage and inspire students.

Want to make it even easier? Shop directly from our Amazon Wish List and have your gifts shipped straight to Resurrection!

Monetary donations will go towards incentives and our commitment to partner schools by supporting the students and teachers all year.

*In-kind donations will not be reflected on your giving statements.
