TV time change and special invitation to worship this weekend

Dear Resurrection Family,
It’s going to be an awesome weekend of worship with Resurrection this weekend, and I hope you’re planning to join me!
We have learned that our 11 am worship service this Sunday on KMCI, Channel 38 The Spot, has been rescheduled for 2 pm, this week only. All other worship times are the same. This seemed like a great opportunity to remind you of all the places, times and ways you can worship with Resurrection.
If you are in the Kansas City area, and are able, I would love to have you worship in person at one of our locations. I’m grateful that while traveling this summer I was able to worship with Resurrection online, but I missed being in person. There’s just something about the connection with others as we sing, pray and worship together that draws me closer to God. We have worship services every Sunday morning at 9 am and 11 am along with children’s programs at locations across the metro:
- Leawood (KS) – 5009 W. 137th St.
- West (Olathe, KS) – 24000 W. Valley Parkway
- Downtown KCMO – 1601 Grand
- Blue Springs (MO) – 601 NE Jefferson St.
- Overland Park (KS) – 8412 W 95th St.
- Brookside (KCMO) – 5144 Oak St.
If you work on Sundays, we have a Saturday night service Downtown at 5 pm, and a Sunday night service in Leawood at 5 pm. And, if you’re an early bird, we have a 7:30 am service on Sunday in Leawood in the Wesley Chapel (13720 Roe Ave.) We’d love to have you worship with us in person this weekend!
If you are not able to worship in person, we have several options for you.
- Resurrection Anywhere – Online at resurrection.church/live/. Join our modern or traditional services Saturday at 5 pm, Sunday at 7:30 am, 9 am, 11 am or 5 pm; During the week, these services are available on-demand, at any time you want.
- YouTube App (Smart TVs and Mobile Devices) – youtube.com/@ChurchoftheResurrection. Modern and traditional worship services are streamed on Saturdays at 5 pm and are available on-demand after that time.
- Television – KMCI Channel 38 The Spot. Regular broadcasts at 8 am and 11 am. Sunday, August 25 ONLY – broadcasts at 8 am and 2 pm

Resurrection Senior Pastor
Reverend Adam Hamilton is the senior pastor of Church of the Resurrection and the author of 22 books. He has been married to LaVon since 1982, and she has been a critical partner in every dimension of Adam’s work. They have two daughters and one granddaughter.
Adam’s writings are known for helping readers make sense of challenging theological questions, exploring the significance of the biblical stories, and equipping Christian leaders to be more effective in their work. He earned his MDiv from Perkins School of Theology and graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Pastoral Ministry.
