Dumela! Today is our last day in South Africa.  We packed in a lot on our last day. 

We had our final game drive this morning.  It was so worth going out one more time!  We added a fish eagle, baboon, kudu, serval (a little cat), steenbok (a tiny deer-like animal), a cheetah, an impressive herd of about 40 elephants lumbering in a line, and a herd of giraffes. 

After a quick breakfast and check-out at the lodge, we loaded up and went to Johannesburg and toured the Nelson Mandela museum.  The displays were very moving and informative of Mandela and Apartheid. 

The museum was our last activity in South Africa.  We were off to the airport for a late night flight to Newark and then home to Kansas City.  Our cups are running over with love for our new friends from our group, our new friends at Ditshego, and the wonderful cultural activities we had.  We are forever changed and grateful to God for the experience.  Amen.
