Day 8

As our Resurrection Medical Team wraps up an amazing, fulfilling, God-blessed mission trip with the UCSS staff, we celebrate serving over 2200 people from Bulike & surrounding villages. This week our lives and perspectives have been changed forever & we hope with God’s grace the lives of our patients have also been changed.

But assistance with medical care was only one aspect of this trip.  Our true goal was connection and relationships – with smiles, hugs, high-fives and the joy of working together.  We truly have experienced God’s love this week.

Our final two days was filled with experiencing the beauty and wildlife of Africa at an amazing lodge, experiencing a hike to see Rhinos in the wild, a 5-hour safari experience, and a river tour up the White Nile where we viewed the majestic Murchison Falls.  We saw literally hundreds, if not over a thousand animals in native habitats.

now as we prepare to return home, we are immensely thankful to have been on this trip, to be representing Jesus as we served during this amazing experience in Uganda!
