The Hangout is open to all students 6th-12th grade on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 – 5:30 PM in the Student Center at Resurrection Church in Leawood at 135 & Roe. The Hangout does not cost anything, and is open for all students to hang out, do their homework, get some snacks, and enjoy activities like our rock wall, basketball, ping pong, video games, art station, and café. Pick up by 5:30 PM.

This is for all students 6th-12th grade. You do not have to be a member of this, or any church, to participate in this hangout time.
The Hangout is a free after-school space to hangout. All students are welcome. Al you need is a completed registration form.
Yes! Our Cafe will be open and we will be selling pizza and snacks for $1. We take cash, green light, Apple Pay, and card. Soda, Takis, Chips, Nerds Gummy Clusters, and other snacks available for purchase.
All students will need to have a completed registration form, submitted by a parent/guardian. Failure to register will result in a student being unable to participate in the program with us. Registration opening soon!
At this time, we don’t offer transportation from the schools, but would encourage carpools with other families in your school.
Yes! The Hangout is supervised by Resurrection Students Staff and volunteers. All staff and students complete regular background checks and child safety training called Safe Gatherings training. For questions, reach out to Torey Byrne.
In case of bad weather, we will follow the Blue Valley School District Schedule.
The Hangout will follow the Blue Valley School District schedule for our days open and closed.
