Due to potentially damaging weather this afternoon and evening, the children’s musical and pre-show events in the Leawood Sanctuary have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
We had a great time on our safari adventure finding the Joy, Courage, Confidence, and Peace of Jesus. We made new friends, sang fun songs, played together, and grew in faith. We ended with a Wild Kingdom Day at the Kansas City Zoo for families. Check out the recap video, revisit each days lessons and songs and check out how we did on our mission collections.

Week of July 12 | All Locations
Kindergarten through 5th graders across all Resurrection locations can look forward to a week packed with games, music, hands-on activities, and new friendships—all centered around this year’s theme: GOAL (Go Out And Love). We’ll explore what it means to share God’s love with the world around us through interactive lessons, creative challenges, and plenty of high-energy fun. Morning and evening sessions will be available to fit your family’s schedule.

Jul. 12 | 2 PM | with Resurrection Overland Park

Jul. 12 | 5:30 PM | Resurrection Liberty
Vacation Bible Camp is almost here, and we’re kicking things off together! Before the week of camp gets underway, join the Resurrection Liberty community for a potluck dinner celebrating the launch of VBC 2026. Bring a side dish or dessert to share, grab your lawn chair, and come ready to connect with other families as we gear up for a great week. This year’s theme is GOAL, which stands for Go Out And Love, and that spirit starts right here, around a table, with our neighbors.

Jul. 19 | 12:30 PM | Resurrection West
Vacation Bible Camp ends with a celebration, and this one goes all out. On Sunday, July 19, at 12:30 pm, plan to head outside for lunch, inflatables, and the return of the infamous shaving cream party, capped off with a fire truck hose-off to close out the week in style. Bring your friends, bring your neighbors, and come ready to get a little messy.
Vacation Bible Camp 2026’s mission collections are all about nurturing the love of learning in children. We are inviting all kids and their families to join us in the Go Out And Love Mission Collections in two ways:
We are collecting money to support families in Malawi with compost toilets. This year we invite you to be a part of helping create composting toilets that offer a revolutionary, eco-friendly, and economically viable alternative by funding composting toilets. One compost toilet costs $300. We hope to raise enough money to build at least 33 compost toilets. These toilets do more than give families a safe place to go to the bathroom—they help stop the spread of sickness, protect the environment, and turn waste into fertilizer that can be used to help crops grow bigger and healthier. This means more food for families in Malawi. Our goal is to collect $10,000. If you’d like to make a donation now you may and it will be added to your registration or you can give during VBC week.
If you would like to donate electronically, click the button below and be sure to select VBC Missions from the drop down menu.
Join Resurrection families Saturday morning, July 19 at the Kansas City Zoo. This roaring good time marks the perfect conclusion to our “Trust Leads the Way” Vacation Bible Camp week. The adventure is open to everyone—participation at Vacation Bible Camp is not required. Bring friends and neighbors to explore amazing animals at our special discounted rate of just $14 per person.
Ticket sales for our Zoo event are now closed.
