Resurrection
Early Learning Centers

Your child is more than cared for. They are known, loved, and inspired to grow.

In a warm, faith-centered environment, children from infancy through Pre-K build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and begin a lifelong journey of faith and discovery. With locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, and Leawood, we’d love to welcome your family.

We are currently enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year at Resurrection Leawood. Openings available at Overland Park and Lee's Summit.
VISION

Resurrection’s Early Learning Centers support children’s growth in academic, spiritual, and social development.

MISSION
Resurrection’s Early Learning Centers provide an opportunity for children to develop a lifelong love of learning in a loving, accepting, faith-based community.
VALUES

Positive self esteem, inclusivity, active learning, Christian community and school readiness.

GOALS
  • Support open communication with and provide appropriate resources for families.
  • Provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment for children.
  • Weave Christian principles into daily interactions.
  • Promote ongoing professional development among staff members.

Faith woven into every moment

From the moment your child arrives, faith is not set aside for a single activity. It is thoughtfully integrated throughout the day. Through weekly chapel, prayer, Bible stories, and a culture rooted in kindness and respect, children learn what it means to care for themselves and others. Learning what it means to be a Christian is woven into the school day as teachers guide children through prayers, songs, and scripture — building a foundation for a lifelong love of faith and community.

Learning that lasts

Our HighScope curriculum spans eight developmental areas, giving children a rich, well-rounded foundation for lifelong learning:

  • Approaches to learning
  • Social and emotional development
  • Physical development and health
  • Language, literacy and communication
  • Mathematics
  • Creative arts
  • Science and technology
  • Social studies

Paired with a Conscious Discipline approach that builds self-regulation, empathy, and problem-solving skills, children are empowered to explore, ask questions, and grow.

Staff

Each member of our team is trained in early childhood development. The majority hold early childhood or elementary education degrees, and several have master’s degrees. All staff are background-checked, CPR and first aid certified, and receive 16+ hours of staff development in early childhood content annually. They are committed to the children in their care.

We are currently hiring full-time teachers, part-time teachers, and part-time classroom helpers (age 16 and older). We would love to speak with you about joining our team! Head over to the careers page for additional details.
