Over the past week, noticeable changes have been taking place outside due to the excavation for our new expansion. I found myself wishing my grandson could have been here to witness the bulldozers shifting soil and the dump trucks depositing fill onto the site. In total, 14 dump trucks full of fill were delivered. The team estimated that it would require 63,000 shovelfuls if the task were done manually. They leveled and compacted the soil on the construction site, and have been busy tying rebar and pouring the concrete footings.
