We had a special day of worship this past Sunday! Pastor Adam offered a great sermon about the power of the Holy Spirit, with a great illustration. We shared Holy Communion and then ended outside breaking ground on our new building expansion, which is being made possible by our Generation to Generation capital campaign.
We had a chance to write prayers for the construction team, pray in the space, and dream about the impact that space will make on young lives. Then anyone who wanted to got a chance to turn a shovel of dirt. Thanks to our amazing building committee for leading us through this process and continuing to manage the project as we build out this space (as well as the additional classroom that will be shelled in on the west end of our building). Thank you to our staff team and volunteers who helped prepare for this morning. And thanks to each of you, for your dedication, generosity, and passion to make spaces where generation after generation will continue to connect with God and grow in their faith.
