Phase One of our building project was relocating the Food Pantry to its new home. Our pantry guests have enjoyed the more updated “grocery store” experience and we’ve already seen an increase in the number of families served. Our amazing volunteers continue to serve our community with gracious and loving hearts. Please join us as we Bless the Pantry on Sunday, May 19. There is an open house all morning, with a brief dedication and prayer beginning at 12:30.
Phase Two began last week with the demolition of the old Food Pantry rooms. These formerly small rooms and narrow hallway will be transformed into our new expanded entryway and staircase that will allow us to welcome people into our church more effectively.
Right now it looks a little chaotic, but we are reminded in Isaiah that no matter how ruined and devastated things may appear to be, God can rebuild, restore & renew. That goes for churches, individuals and for communities impacted by God’s people. Please continue to pray for our construction crew as they are rebuilding!
During the remainder of construction, the Main Entrance will only be open on Sunday mornings for Worship at 9a and 11a. Please use the Office Entrance for any church activities during the week! Both the Office Entrance and the Main Entrance can be used for Worship on Sundays.
